President's Message:

Welcome to the Lone Star (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s website.

This program year marks our 9th anniversary serving the communities of Williamson and Bell counties.  After serving almost totally virtually for more than two years due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are most excited about interacting with our communities. Our chapter and each of us individually are anxiously looking forward to continuing our transformational programming. The Lone Star (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s rich legacy and core values anchor every member. We invite you to explore our website to discover the many civic, cultural, educational, and health-related programs we have provided, and the various programs we have in store in the coming months.

We were Chartered on April 27, 2014; and continue to enrich Williamson and Bell Counties.   Over the years, our chapter has made its impact felt in several areas of vital importance through our five facets: The Arts, Health and Human Services, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, and Services to Youth. In Partnership with the Round Rock School District the Chapter has implemented an award winning “Life Mastery Program at Success High School. Through guided discussions, videos, learning activities, and special events we’ve sought to enhance each student’s self-image, encourage the pursuit of higher education, and expand their options for employment, and employability.

On behalf of our chapter, we invite you to browse our website, follow us on social media, and look for opportunities to participate in our community events this year.  Thank you for your support and we look forward to serving the community in many years to come.

In Friendship and Service,

Shana Nichols
